Its 4-inch AK-XPS4 insulation delivers R-29 thermal resistance for reliable cold storage, helping to retain temperatures. This walk-in unit operates at 35 degrees Fahrenheit using a remote-mounted Bohn refrigeration system charged with R-448A refrigerant and rated for ambient conditions up to 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Amerikooler QC060872**NBRC-448A walk-in cooler includes a flush-mounted, self-closing door constructed of insulated panels and a heavy-duty PVC thermal barrier jamb. The door assembly features two cam-lift, spring-assisted hinges, a keyed deadbolt handle with an inside safety release, and a door closer to support positive sealing. The unit also comes with a digital LED thermometer and On/Off pilot light switch for real-time monitoring. Panels interlock using a cam-action locking system that reinforces the structure while supporting thermal integrity.
