Randell FX-1-290 Description
The Randell FX-1-290 FX series chef base is a single-section refrigerated unit designed for point-of-use cold storage in commercial kitchens. Featuring 1 refrigerated drawer with electronic temperature controls, the unit offers an adjustable operating range from -4 degrees Fahrenheit to 40 degrees Fahrenheit for freezer or refrigerator applications. The self-contained refrigeration system uses patented in-drawer cooling technology to direct airflow into the insulated drawer compartment for accurate temperature holding and operational efficiency. Its compact footprint supports installation beneath counters and prep stations where refrigerated access is needed close to the work area.
Constructed for commercial durability, the Randell FX-1-290 refrigerator base is made of stainless steel on the interior, front, and sides to support corrosion resistance and cleaning procedures. The removable insulated drawer insert is made of high-impact ABS plastic with polyurethane insulation and can be detached for sanitation or product staging. Positioned outside the refrigerated compartment, the full-extension drawer track system helps minimize exposure to debris and refrigerated conditions during operation. An unfinished top enables flexible installation beneath countertops or custom work surfaces.
