LMFAO Linda Fitzimmons

Excellent oil for popcorn, price is good about $.17 per oz. It is NOT popcorn, but for a good time read the previous reviews. I haven't had that much of a good laugh reading reviews in a long time. Get some for your kids too! I wish with all my heart I could see those people opening this up to find 50 lbs. of oil ;)

DO NOT BUY! NOT POPCORN!

Worst product ever! I purchased these for my kids and relatives thinking they were full of caramel, cheesy, and buttery popcorn! When my 5 year old daughter opened it on christmas, she was confused at first. After I told her there was popcorn inside, she got super excited. Her spirits were completely crushed when my husband pried off the lid and there was nothing but yellow congealed oil. It broke my heart to see her so upset. I also got a really angry call from my mother in law asking why we gave a bucket of oil to her grandkids. I still haven't heard from my neice though. I doubt she'll ever speak to me again after this! After we opened the container, I went back to the label. BURIED in the fine print, there is a note about how this is popcorn OIL used in MAKING popcorn, not prepopped kernels. The label and website should have been MUCH MORE CLEAR ABOUT THIS! If you are looking for congealed butter flavored oil, this is the product for you. If you want popcorn though, STAY AWAY!

Great bargain!

Last year for Christmas, I got a lovely tin full of three flavors of popcorn (butter, cheese, and caramel I think). Since it was such an easy crowdpleaser, I decided I'd do popcorn tins for all of my family members this year. I purchased 4 of these and had them delivered to my house so I could wrap them and add personal notes. I was a bit surprised when they arrived because they are HEAVY! The glaze on the kernels must be really thick for it to be so heavy! One other problem is that the container is pretty boring; it's just plain gray. The ones in stores typically have Santa Claus or some other christmas pattern. This wasn't a big deal though, I just jazzed them up with some beautiful purple wrapping paper. In fact, since they don't have Christmas images on them, you could give this for any occasion! Mine ended up looking pretty cute! Even if they are a little dressed down, it's a great deal for such a large container! The star rating is based solely on the look and weight of the can. I have taken already three of them to my in-laws and my sister. The one for the kids is wrapped up under the tree as we speak! I will report back and update the rating after we taste the popcorn on Christmas!
