Easily Damaged in Shipping
These enamel trays are attractive, sturdy, and hold up well in high-temperature dishwashers. We use them for serving items like bagels, cookies, etc. at functions at our church. HOWEVER, the enamel finish chips easily at the corners. The first shipment we purchased had every tray damaged in the corners. We notified the company and sent pictures and they graciously sent replacements at no cost. The replacement trays also had damage with the enamel chipping away at the corners--less so than in the first shipment but still damaged. We decided just to keep them to use, but they are not as attractive as they should be. The company packaged them in bubble wrap within cardboard boxes--so I think that they took reasonable precautions--but it still wasn't enough.
Thanks for your honest review. We're glad to hear the trays have worked well for your church events and hold up under frequent use, but we're really sorry about the recurring enamel damage. It sounds like the packaging just hasn't been enough to protect the corners in transit, even with extra care taken. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and are glad our team was able to assist with replacements, though we understand the frustration of still receiving damaged items.
