Strong like an ox, hard to assemble
I love the desk, but I nearly lost my mind assembling it. The holes to screw the legs to the top did not match up well at all. It almost took more muscle than I could muster, but I finally got it together. Then one of the screw holes for the adjusting knobs did not work right and the knob came loose. Fortunately they also put in a couple "no touch" screws with an allen wrench and I ended up using them instead. However, once assembled, the desk was perfect. Heavy, heavy, heavy. I wanted a mnimalist look for my home office and this desk is perfect. I needed the oak color to match my other furniture in the room. Later on, I also attached a keyboard shelf, no worries about the top not being solid enough to support the shelf, it was hard like cast iron when I screwed the shelf on. The desk is large enough to hold my two 24-inch monitors plus my laptop, but the 24-inch width does not protrude too far in to the room. Would I buy it again? From a function standpoint yes, from an assembly standpoint no.
