To ensure precooked foods are held at safe temperatures, the Traulsen RW232W-COR01 reach-in heated cabinet uses a serpentine-style heater to generate temperatures between 135 and 180 degrees Fahrenheit; the ducted fan air-distribution system circulates warm air evenly throughout the cabinet. The doors and cabinet are lined with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation, which helps preserve temperatures, and operators can adjust temperatures as needed using the microprocessor controls. If temperatures rise or drop unexpectedly, a visual alarm will notify the operator.

Designed for use in correctional facilities, the Traulsen RW232W-COR01 heated cabinet's protective features—such as its polycarbonate microprocessor control cover, locking hasps, flanged, legs, and welded tray slides—help prevent vandalism and tampering. With the unit's two-section reach-in configuration, users have direct access to product. When pushed past 120 degrees, the doors stay secured in an open position so operators can load and remove product without holding the doors. The 12 universal tray slides are welded in place, preventing unwanted removal; each accommodates an 18-inch by 26-inch pan, two 14-inch by 18-inch pans, or two 12-inch by 20-inch pans. Its durable stainless steel interior and exterior withstand heavy use and resist corrosion over time.
