The Traulsen G31300 Dealer's Choice freezer has a durable, metal construction. The exterior is made of stainless steel on the front and doors to facilitate cleaning, while the top, bottom, and back are made of rust-resistant galvanized steel. This freezer has three sections accessible through half-size doors. Each door automatically closes under 120 degrees and, if pulled any farther, the door stays open for stocking. Sections have three epoxy-coated shelves and staff members can store 225 pounds of product on each rack. LED lights illuminate product so staff can find what they need.

This Traulsen G31300 three-section freezer has a built-in refrigeration system on top. Because air flows in from up high, the system does not suck in as much dust as a bottom-mounted condenser, so the condensing coils do not need to be cleaned as often. Coils are accessible through the front louver, though staff members may need a ladder to reach them.

For convenience, operators can monitor the internal temperature on the LED display and adjust the temperature to a level between -5 and 0 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature can also be programmed to -10 degrees Fahrenheit. Cold temperatures are maintained with R-448A refrigerant, which is not flammable, and the refrigerant flow is controlled by a thermostatic expansion valve, which releases more refrigerant when temperatures rise to quickly recover the set temperature.
