Vollrath HPG6-36 Description
This Vollrath HPG6-36 countertop manual gas hotplate ships equipped for natural gas but includes a conversion kit to use liquid propane if needed. Once installation is made possible with the 3⁄4 NPT gas inlet, this unit outputs 156,000 BTUs of power. The hotplate is made of stainless and aluminized steel for durability and features cast iron grates. It has six burners spaced every 12 inches and controlled by manual knobs. The bullnose design protects individuals from burns.
For user safety, the Vollrath HPG6-36 countertop hotplate has a front piece that stays relatively cool in comparison to the cooking surface. The unit sits on four heavy-duty stainless steel legs that can be adjusted from 4 to 5 1⁄2 inches tall and provide stability. The full unit measures 36 inches wide by 27 3⁄8 inches deep by 13 1⁄4 inches high. A stainless steel drip pan is located underneath the body to ease cleanup at the end of the business day.
