Vollrath CBGMD-12 Description
The compact design of the Vollrath CBGMD-12 medium-duty gas charbroiler measures 12 inches wide by 151/4 inches high. This simple unit features a single burner that outputs 40,000 BTU and is natural gas ready. It ships with a convertible liquid propane kit for a convenient switch. This small-scale design is supported with 4-inch adjustable legs and should be installed next to non-combustible equipment with a 6-inch minimum spacing at the rear. The front-and-center control knobs allow for comfortable heat adjustment when needed.
This Vollrath CBGMD-12 medium-duty charbroiler features a radiant element atop the burner to heat the griddle surface evenly. For a variety of meats, like steak or delicate fish, the griddle is reversible, with a narrow side and a flat, wide side. This unit’s backsplash and tapered sides catch hot grease and oils, and the drip tray collects the excess for better cleaning processes at the end of the day. With the adapter bars, users can adjust the height of the griddle to position the grill plates away from the heat for gradual cooking.
