The Vollrath 781155 saucepan is made of 18/8 stainless steel—a durable and corrosion-resistant metal composed of 18 percent chromium and 8 percent nickel. For fortification that extends beyond its tapered cooking base, its EverTite™ riveting system attaches a solid metal handle that increases safety during cooking by limiting heat transfer to the user's hands. Its 5 1⁄2-quart capacity can boil, simmer, and reduce culinary ingredients to make thin or thick consistencies. It measures 7 81⁄100 inches in diameter by 17 22⁄25 inches wide by 5 57⁄100 inches high overall.
