Ideal for small portions of gravy or au jus, the Vollrath 722110 sauce pan has a 1-quart capacity with a 4-inch-diamter by 2¹⁄₄-inch-high cooking surface. Its three-ply body features a 3004 aluminum core, an 18/8 stainless steel interior, and an 18/0 stainless steel exterior that's compatible with gas, electric, or induction cooktops. For a sleek appearance, it has a natural surface finish that evenly distributes heat during cooking. Users can move this pan to and from the burner using the handle, which is made of silicone to establish a comfortable no-slip grip. This handle is also heat resistant, so it can withstand sporadic temperatures as high as 600 degrees Fahrenheit or consistent temperatures as high as 450 degrees Fahrenheit; its secured to the base of the pan with the EverTite™ riveting system. After use, this pan should be washed by hand to maintain its high quality.
