Vollrath 702145 Description
For long-term durability in commercial kitchens, the Vollrath 702145 Tribute® saucepan is built with a three-ply design. The exterior is constructed of 18/0 stainless steel—a sturdy alloy compatible with gas, electric, or induction ranges. In contrast, the interior cooking surface is constructed of 18/8 stainless steel for optimal durability and wear resistance; both layers are separated by a conductive 3004 aluminum core. Designed to ease cleaning, it sports a natural finish, and to maintain this pan's integrity over extended periods of time, it should be washed by hand. So hands are protected from burns, the handle is made of silicone, which resists intermittent exposure to heat as high as 600 degrees Fahrenheit and consistent exposure to temperatures as high as 450 degrees Fahrenheit. This handle is attached to the pan's base with secure EverTite™ rivets. Overall, this pan boasts a 4 1⁄2-quart capacity and has a usable surface area of 9 inches in diameter by 4 1⁄8 inches high.
