The Vollrath 52013 spatula has a contoured, flexible blade that molds to containers. Made of thermoplastic, the blade will not get damaged in temperatures beneath 212 degrees Fahrenheit. Since the blade is molded to the handle, it does not have cracks or crevices that could trap food particles and harbor bacteria.
