The Vollrath 4981520 ladle 1¹⁄₂-ounce bowl has a mirror finish and an 18-gauge construction. To enable consistent portioning, capacity markings are stamped on the handle in ounces and milliliters. Because it measures 9⁷⁄₈ inches long, the handle can be used to reach to the bottom of pots, and it has a hooked design to secure it to the edge of a bowl or pot. To prevent the black handle from fading, it should not be used in temperatures exceeding 225 degrees Fahrenheit.
