Vollrath 40739 Description
The Vollrath 40739 electric hotplate can be added to cook lines during busy periods, providing an additional place for boiling or cooking with saucepans. It has a front and back burner with a solid plate design—also called French style—that is easier to clean than standard coil burners because the burners are sealed from spills. Each burner has its own heat selector switch and pilot indicator light, and the housing is made of a durable stainless steel that resists rusting. To save space on countertops, the unit has a narrow design. Legs elevate this piece of equipment off the countertop, and they are adjustable to maintain stability.
