Vollrath 3822 Description
The Vollrath 3822 Optio™ Deluxe cookware set includes myriad pans that can be used to boil, braise, sautée, fry, and steam. Matching lids can be placed on the pans to trap steam and heat—speeding cook times and reducing dryness—and removed to vent excess moisture, avoiding sogginess. Sturdy, rounded handles on the pans resist heat transfer, and the pans are compatible with induction-style cooktops.
The bases of the pans included in the Vollrath 3822 Optio Deluxe cookware set are aluminum clad, ensuring they heat evenly and reach the chef's desired temperature quickly. Sturdy stainless steel sandwiches the temperature-reactive aluminum, protecting it from dents and scratches during high-volume use. The high-chrome stainless steel interior of the pans withstands acidic and salty food, resisting pitting, staining, and flavor transfer.

Solid cookware for induction or standard electric
Purchased my second set of pots for a home that has an electric glass cooktop. While I loved this for my induction cooktop, they work just as well with standard glass top. Easy to use, clean and store. Would recommend!
Second set - works perfectly!
Discovered this cookware at Grand Central Station Food Hall being used at a new restaurant that had induction cooktops. Purchased a set to use on my induction with no regrets. Now relocated to a new space with conventional glass top burners and I ordered another set to use. Again, worked perfectly and stands up to my rough usage. Would recommend!

Good value for the money
We purchased several of these sets for BSA scout patrol boxes, so everyone would have the same set, neat and orderly for patrol cook-outs. We did not have a lot of money to spend so this set was a good value, it appears very sturdy and should last a long time.
