Groen XS-240-8-1 Description
When temperatures in the Groen XS-240-8-1 countertop steamer hit 212 degrees Fahrenheit, the unit begins to produce steam. Because it has a 3-gallon water reservoir, it doesn't require water connection for operation, and when the water gets low, a light shines so employees know it needs to be refilled. To prevent the unit from damage, it will shut off if the water isn't replaced quickly, and its heating element is located externally to keep it away from the water. Constructed of stainless steel, this steamer is strong enough to withstand extended use.
The Groen XS-240-8-1 convection steamer has internal fans that shut off when the front door is opened. The wire pan racks enable airflow throughout the gaps, ensuring food is heated evenly when the unit is at its six-pan capacity. When the machine is in cook mode, standby mode, and when the heat is turned on, an indicator light updates employees of its current status. This unit fits on a countertop to minimize its footprint in a busy environment.
