Groen XS-240-12-3 Description
The Groen XS-240-12-3 convection steamer has stainless steel racks to hold six full-size food pans. Made of wire, the racks let air circulate throughout the gaps for uniform heating. Eliminating guesswork, the timer can be adjusted to a length of 60 minutes to ensure food is cooked thoroughly. This unit operates with an external heating element and an internal fan, and when the door is opened, a magnetic switch turns the fan off automatically. This steamer has a boilerless design that requires no water connection for use.
If water levels in the Groen XS-240-12-3 countertop steamer's 3-gallon reservoir get too low, a light shines to alert employees, and the unit will turn off to prevent damage. Additional indicator lights shine while the unit is cooking, in standby mode, and when the heat is turned on. For steaming, it must hit temperatures of 212 degrees Fahrenheit, and after use, the water must be manually drained. This steamer is made of stainless steel to resist rust, corrosion, denting, and warping.
