With a 12-gallon capacity, the Groen TDB-48C tilting kettle is great for warming large volumes of soup, rice, chili, stew, or pasta. This self-contained unit doesn't require an external boiler or steam generation system to power its two-thirds steam jacket, unlike direct-steam configurations. Its electronic heating system can produce and maintain temperatures from 150 to 295 degrees Fahrenheit to accommodate holding requirements, and once it reaches set temperatures, it's thermostatically controlled to shut off for energy conservation. If food temperature drops below the set point, the thermostat will turn back on to regulate heat. For simple operation, its right-mounted classic controls include a power switch with an indicator light, temperature-control knob with 1-to-10 increments, heat indicator light, and low-water warning light.

This Groen TDB-48C tabletop tilting kettle measures 28 inches wide by 22 2⁄5 inches deep by 27 1⁄3 inches high and is made of exceptionally durable 304 stainless steel for long-term wear, rust, and corrosion resistance. Once product is cooked, operators can use the hand tilt to pour contents from its butterfly-shaped pouring lip into a 4-inch-deep pan. To accommodate specific kitchen setups or user requirements, it includes right- and left-hand tilt handle mounts for flexibility.
