Groen HY-5G (5) Pan Convection Steamer - Countertop, Liquid Propane

The Groen HY-5G HyperSteam™ countertop convection steamer has a generator that creates steam in the compartment. A blower moves this steam around the interior to cook food evenly, and heat stays inside the cabinet due to stainless steel panels, insulation in the door, and a door seal. When the door is opened, the steam generator and blower stop so that employees are less likely to get burned. Condensate collects in a tray under the door to facilitate the cleaning process. When cleaning, employees can remove the rack supports and delime the steam generator to keep it working properly.

This Groen HY-5G gas convection steamer can steam food continuously or for a set time as long as 60 minutes. In between batches, the cooking cavity stays warm until the unit is turned off; afterward, the steam generator is cooled off to reduce sediment buildup. For durability and corrosion resistance, this unit is made of stainless steel. Its door has a continuous, sturdy hinge that can be reversed, and its handle is designed to lock securely.
