The Groen EE-100 steam kettle has a 100-gallon capacity for large, high-volume operations. Added at the factory, water in the jacket is a self-contained steam source, so the unit does not require a water supply. With a two-third jacket, steam covers the bottom section of the kettle, saving power and water compared to full-jacketed models, though it can provide an uneven heat. Its interior liner is made of 316 stainless steel—a material that resists corrosion even with highly acidic products.

The controls on this Groen EE-100 stationary steam-jacketed kettle are in a stainless steel enclosure to protect them from damage and are still within close reach. A pilot light shines when the unit is heating while the temperature can be set on the thermostat. When the temperature reaches its set level, the unit shuts off, and when it requires heat, it turns back on. Operators can monitor the steam pressure in the jacket on the gauge and check the jacket water level on the sight glass while the safety valve releases steam in the jacket if the pressure gets too high.
