Summit SCR1156 Description
The Summit SCR1156 one-section glass door merchandiser has an easy to read digital thermostat with electronic controls that make using it simple. The temperature ranges from 36 to 43 degrees Fahrenheit, and an internal fan distributes cold air evenly throughout the cabinet. An alarm goes off when the temperature goes out of the suggested range to alert you.
The tempered, double pane glass door retains cold air inside the cabinet. When the door is left ajar, it self-closes to prevent product exposure to ambient temperatures. A factory-installed lock prevents unauthorized access to products. The interior of the Summit SCR1156 one-section glass door merchandiser is made of stainless steel for durability and easy cleaning. Interior LED lights are recessed to prevent damage and make products easy to see. Four chrome shelves are adjustable to accommodate varying sized products.

"We purchased this summit refrigerator for our extra refrigerator in the laundry room to store cold drinks and that's really it. Light use. It lasted 3.5 years and went out completely. Terrible product. Unrepairable."

"We purchased 6 Summit glass single door approx. 11 cu. ft. merchandiser units six years ago, and the compressors have gone bad on THREE OF THEM so far. Two of them failed before the 5-year warranty expired, but they only cover the part, not the installation and re-charging of the system. So we were still out a pocket full of money to get them repaired and back in service. The 3rd one failed six months after the compressor warranty had expired. So, if anyone recommends a Summit box, RUN FOR THE HILLS!!! (And they gave us a world of stink trying to even get them to honor their warranty on those two compressors. We had the units down for about 3 weeks waiting for their warranty replacement compressors to show up.)"
