To complement contemporary kitchen aesthetics, the Summit GCJ536SSLPTK gas cooktop is built with a sleek, resilient stainless steel surface; continuous, matte-finished cast iron grates; and circular, heavy-duty aluminum and brass knobs finished with steel. This 26-inch-wide by 21-inch-deep by 2 22⁄25-inch-tall unit includes a stainless steel exterior trim kit for seamless installation into a 32 3⁄4-inch-wide by 18 3⁄4-inch-tall deep cutout. Although it's preset to operate with LP gas, it includes a natural gas conversion kit to accommodate specific kitchen setups.
To achieve various cooking results, the Summit GCJ536SSLPTK cooktop is equipped with five high-quality Defendi burners: a top-right rapid burner, upper-center and lower-right semi-rapid burners, and a bottom-center auxiliary burner. Its push-to-turn knobs require users to turn the corresponding knob to a full-on position before pushing it down. The controls are mounted on the unit's front to prevent users from reaching over hot surfaces to make burner adjustments. For simple cleaning and lasting durability, each burner is sealed with cast iron caps.
