An item from the Safety First Cooktop series, the Summit CRH2BT30115 countertop electric cooktop features two 5 1⁄2 inch elements to accomplish most cooking needs. This unit has digital gentle-touch controls with nine different power levels for precise, versatile cooking. The surface is made from smooth, black ceramic glass to provide durability and a sleek, modern appearance. This unit does not include a power cord and must be professionally hardwired.
To ensure the safety of the user, the Summit CRH2BT30115 countertop cooktop has a 30-minute automatic shut-off feature that disables each burner after 30 minutes of no user activity. This cooktop also has a child lock for safety and to prevent unintended changes. This unit has an overflow protection feature that will turn off the cooktop if liquid touches the control panel. A residual heat indicator light will stay illuminated until the surface has cooled down to avoid burns.
