This bin is insulated to minimize the rate at which the ice melts. This unit's air-cooled condenser circulates its R290 refrigerant away from the evaporator to produce ice, and to reduce maintenance needs, the automatic defrost system warms the coils to protect them from excess freezing. An interior control panel features indicator lights and alerts users when the bin is full. It ships with an ice scoop to reduce contamination when removing ice.
