Continental SW48N12C Description

The Continental SW48N12C sandwich/salad prep table is constructed of durable stainless steel on the top, front, and end panels, ensuring reliability in demanding commercial environments. It features a 19-inch-deep, full-length nylon cutting board that spans the front of the unit, providing a practical workspace for preparing sandwiches, salads, and other menu items. This standard top model accommodates (12) 1/6-size recessed pans, each 4 inches deep, keeping ingredients organized and easily accessible during service. Its aluminum back and interior add lightweight strength, while magnetic snap-in Santoprene gaskets ensure a secure seal to maintain optimal cooling conditions.

The refrigerated base of the Continental SW48N12C is designed with two heavy-duty, epoxy-coated steel shelves, offering additional storage for bulk ingredients. The rear-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system includes a unique airflow distribution system to maintain consistent temperatures between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Insulated with 2-inch non-CFC polyurethane foam, the base retains cold air effectively for energy-efficient operation. Additional components, such as an automatic hot gas condensate evaporator and corrosion-resistant plasticized fin evaporator coil, reduce moisture accumulation and ensure long-term reliability. 5-inch casters permit staff to move the unit when needed for repositioning or cleaning. To ease maintenance between shifts, this unit has a removable tub fixed beneath the food pans to catch food debris.
