The Continental FA68N-D 68-inch worktop freezer has a net capacity of 22 cubic feet. This worktop freezer features a heavy-gauge, rust- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel top with a stainless steel front and end panels. For durability, its rear and grill are made of galvanized steel, and its interior is made of aluminum. To maintain consistent temperatures, the unit is insulated with 2 inches of non-CFC polyurethane foam. This unit’s four two-tier, stainless steel drawers roll out for improved access and can accommodate two 20-inch-long by 12-inch-wide by 6-inch-high pans per drawer. It has a rehingeable, self-closing, half-height door located above the condensing unit. The drawers and door have Santoprene™ magnetic snap-in gaskets for a solid seal and smooth, polished chrome handles for ease of cleaning and handling. The completely enclosed, vented rear and side grills are removable. The unit can be rolled from one location to another on the included 5-inch casters.

The performance-rated refrigeration system on the Continental FA68N-D 68-inch worktop freezer uses R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant for a lower environmental impact. Fans installed across the back of the unit in a forced-air design are used to evenly distribute cold air. An automatic, electric defrost system prevents frost buildup to protect foods from freezer burn. This unit saves energy with an automatic, non-electric condensate evaporator and efficiently regulates temperatures with an expansion valve system. It has a plasticized fin evaporator coil for corrosion resistance and a slide-out, side-mounted condensing unit to simplify servicing.
