Thin walled and break easily
We use these bowls for French onion soup. After discovering how thin they were and directing the staff to be careful with them they still broke at an incredible rate. Not worth wasting your money on. We purchased a dozen and almost half came damaged in shipment and the other half were broken by normal use with in a few weeks.
No. This bowl only holds 8 oz ,not 12.
I will return and exchange for the larger bowl.

Perfect Bowl for soup
I ordered these to serve the classic french onion soup and they're the perfect vehicle. Exactly as described, arrived quickly, and although there were economical, they are absolutely not cheap. I heated in oven, washed in dishwasher. I'll use these again and again.

small mistake
very pleased with everything including very fast delivery. the only problem was I ordered 12 of the same size French onion soup bowls and 4 of them were the larger size. so I got 8 of the ones I ordered and 4 next size up. by the time I realized , it was to late to exchange so I just used the bigger ones
