Escargot Plate
Awesome I prepare escargot offen and now my family has their very own plate. Served nice and warm. Arrived very quickly and it was pack very good. This is my first order very impressed. Thank you all
Great Item!
Keeps the escargot warm longer than the silver trays. It made it so easy to serve individually. The only downside is the hollow bottom when washing. I chose to wash them in the sink. Very easy to clean but the water puddles in bottom. My solution was to wiggle it a bit to get the water out and then air dry on top of drying mat. I'm still giving it five stars because it was an awesome price. Great shipping speed too! We'll definitely order from KaTom again!!

Plates worked just as they should. the only drawback is that the hollow bottom traps water in the dishwasher but I suspect they have to be hollow to heat the snails properly. It helps to angle the plate with the bottom in the downward position. Other than that, great buy.
Best buy for the money. Worth every penny.
I'm tired of preparing escargot in the shells and then having to clean them. Finally after a period of time the shells are beginning to smell. So, you pitch them out and buy new ones. I don't know why it took so long but I finally woke up and broke down and purchased the ceramic escargot plates. Love the side handles when going to take them out of the oven. No more shells for me.
Escargot Plates
I place one snail in each slot. With a spatula i spread about a teaspoon or so of a mixture of garlic, butter and parsley over the escargot. Bake in an oven until butter starts to caramelize and then serve. It couldn't be easier. The plates are safe in the dishwasher but collect water on the underside because it is hollow. They need to be hollow on the bottom to allow the plate to cool slightly before serving. The plates wash very easily with a soapy sponge.
