The Cambro CBU184284VS4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus shelving unit has three vented shelves and one solid shelf, which can be placed at the top to protect the other shelves from condensation in refrigerators or at the bottom to protect them from cleaning chemicals used on floors. The shelf plates can be detached and safely cleaned in commercial dishmachines. It has four composite posts with pre-assembled wedges and connectors that make up the sturdy frame. Feet on the bottom of the posts keep the unit level on uneven surfaces.

The Cambro CBU184284VS4580 starter shelving unit comes with eight traverses to secure the shelves in place, and dovetails are used to attach the traverses to the posts. This shelving unit is able to hold as much as 1,800 pounds of evenly distributed weight. Temperatures ranging from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit will not affect the unit, and its brushed graphite appearance provides a professional feel.
