Dovetails, traverses, and preassembled post connectors and wedges are included with the Cambro CBA244864S4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit to quicken attachment to a starter shelving unit. This hardware enables the add-on unit to be fastened in T, U, or L shapes to fit crowded storage areas, while the composite posts and leveling feet stabilize the unit when stored on irregular flooring. Because its polypropylene construction is safe to use in a temperature range between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, it can be installed in dishrooms, pantries, coolers, and freezers. To complement the starter unit, the add-on shelving unit features a brushed graphite appearance, which resists rusting, peeling, corroding, and scratching throughout use.
The Cambro CBA244864S4580 add-on shelving unit's four-tier structure has a 1,800-pound capacity, though its bottom shelves each support 600 pounds and its top shelf accommodates 400 pounds. The shelves' solid surfaces are ideal for linen storage because the flat surfaces won't leave imprints in towels and sheets. It also ensures small or oddly shaped goods are secured in place. Operators can wipe the shelves' surfaces clean to maintain sanitary storage areas, and the shelves can be removed for sanitization in a dishmachine.
