Engineered to accommodate small pieces of equipment and bagged or boxed product, the Cambro CBA184272V5580 Camshelving® Basics Plus add-on shelving unit has a maximum capacity of 1,800 pounds. The top shelf can hold 400 pounds, while each of the four bottom shelves has a 600-pound capacity. All shelves are louvered so airflow through the gaps circulates around product, reducing moisture and dust accumulation. To ensure products are stored on sanitary surfaces, antimicrobial protection agent is molded into the shelf plates to inhibit bacterial spread between cleanings. The shelf plates can be removed and cleaned in a heavy-duty dishmachine.

To fit cramped storage spaces, the Cambro CBA184272V5580 shelving add-on unit includes the necessary hardware so it can be attached to an existing Camshelving Basics Plus unit in a T-, L-, or U-shaped configuration. Two composite posts support the add-on unit, while leveling feet stabilize it on uneven surfaces to prevent wobbling. This durable polypropylene unit resists rusting, corroding, peeling, and scratching to preserve its original appearance. Because it withstands temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, it's able to be stored in walk-in pantries and coolers. For uniformity with the original shelving unit, this add-on features a brushed graphite look.
