The shaft is sealed to prevent liquid from soaking into it, and the blender is safe to use in pots with capacities as large as 40 quarts. With its heavy-duty motor, this tool has speed that can adjust from 5,000 to 18,000 rpm. To make the Waring WSB50 Big Stix immersion blender easy and comfortable to use, it has a rubberized grip and second handle.
