Bloomfield 8542-D1 Description
Ideal for applications where a direct water hookup is not available, the Bloomfield 8542-D1 Koffee King® decanter coffee maker is a pour-over unit. Although this means the user will have to manually refill the water reservoir, it is more portable and flexible than automatic models, and it has one brewer and a single warmer under the dispensing faucet. Resistant to damage and preventing marks on the decanters, the warming plate is constructed of porcelain enamel.
A thermostat measures the water temperature in the Bloomfield 8542-D1 commercial drip coffee maker, and when it is ready to brew, the indicator light notifies the operator. To create agitation and extract the complete flavor and aroma from the product, a sprayhead feature in the brewer spreads water over the coffee grounds. The unit's low-profile design fits under overhead storage and mounted equipment, and the stainless steel construction withstands heavy use and resists corrosion.
