The Alto-Shaam 500-S-QS half-height heated holding cabinet has a magnetic door latch, so products won't fall out of the cabinet as it is transported from place to place. Six full-sized food pans will fit inside the cabinet, which is made of stainless steel—a durable material that aids in speeding up the cleaning process. An antimicrobial agent in the door's handle prevents illness-causing pathogens from growing.

Vents in the Alto-Shaam 500-S-QS holding cabinet doors promote airflow, ensuring that crispy foods retain their texture. The Halo Heat® heat source surrounds food with constant, uniform temperatures. A straightforward control panel has heat indicator lights and a heat recovery system, as well as arrow buttons to set time and temperature.
