I would buy this knife again if i could find one.
My Dexter knife is similar to the boot knife as it has a cherry wood rounded handle held to the tang with a rivet. the blade is very thin and tapered and made from carbon steel. the knife blade is marked Dexter and Southbridge Mass. Stamped on the butt end of the handle is 7N. I use this knife for almost everything in the kitchen from slicing butter and moving very thin slices to removing meats from oven platters.
Awesome product
I'm a contractor and use this knife for multiple uses on the jobsite but one of my main uses is helping me clean out my grout lines as I'm laying my tile.
Great knife for the price
I was looking for an inexpensive, well-made knife for cutting Fiberglas duct liner. This is working great.
