The Dexter Russell P94847B Basics® utility knife's 6-inch-long blade is slightly larger than paring knife blades, so it can be used for similar tasks. It works well with large fruits and vegetables, and its scalloped edge can be used to slice through sandwiches, loaves of bread, tomatoes, and citrus fruits. Because it's made of high-carbon, stain-free steel, the blade is durable and rust resistant. It's attached to a polypropylene handle, which comes in black and is comfortable to grip.
