I wouldn't buy this again
The handle broke on the first heavy use, it has steel up to the point where your fingers act as a lever but only plastic afterward, so 3/4 of the handles are just plastic and break without much pressure, a designed weak spot. This makes them pretty much useless for using them for kitchen shears. They will cut herbs and things fine, but not poultry.
Great kitched shears
As every Dexter Russell product I have own, these shears are just great! They are very sharp and cut through everything.
grate design, no quality handle broke.
With the first use to cut a chicken the handle broke apart.
