A metal guard between the handle and blade protects the cook’s fingers while chopping. There is a blade-to-handle seal to prevent the growth of bacteria. Constructed of stainless steel, the blade has durability for heavy-duty use. The blade’s edge has been ground for flexibility, making it perfect for commercial settings. Best knife for produce
Been in produce most my life...this is the BEST knife I have ever used...it is used in processing and in the retail grocery enviroments. I bet your neighborhood grocery store produce guy has one.
Great for chopping herbs!
I use it to chop fresh herbs like Genovese basil, Thai basil, mint, cilantro, parsley, and dill. I also also use it for cutting salad greens like arugula, deer tongue, and tatsoi. This knife always does a beautiful job and never bruises the leaves. Lovely!
