Both shelves in the Nemco 6480-24S dual-shelf heated merchandiser are slanted to improve product presentation and create a streamlined self-service station that slides food forward as an item is removed. Each shelf has a correlating heat and light control so foods with differing holding requirements can be stored in the same cabinet. Foiled rope elements heat below the shelves, while top-mounted strip heaters direct warm air from above; together, these heating components eliminate cold spots that could impact food quality.
For medium-volume holding applications, the Nemco 6480-24S heated shelf accommodates as many as (36) 4-inch-diameter sandwiches. This 24-inch-wide by 193⁄4-inch-deep by 271⁄2-inch-high unit can be used on compact counters, and its doorless configuration lets employees insert fresh items into the back without disrupting shopping customers. To boost impulse buys, its tempered glass sides provide a full view of merchandised goods, while shatterproof bulbs illuminate each shelf for an attractive presentation. Its stainless steel exterior resists rust, corrosion, and wear without interfering with established decorative themes.
