This stainless steel unit with nickel-plated components has a unique mechanical design that cuts horizontally into the rim for improved food and user safety. Cutting from the outside, the blade assembly crimps as it cuts, eliminating sharp edges that can slice hands or damage kitchen tools. No metal shavings fall into the products, and the lid comes off clean with no jagged edges
