Beverage-Air BM23HC-B Description

The Beverage-Air BM23HC-B kegerator beer dispenser's system holds one keg inside the cabinet, while the forced-air refrigeration system ensures the beer in that keg is cold for serving. Beer is dispensed from a 3-inch insulated single-faucet tower supplied with a continuous flow of cold air to reduce foaming. This three-in-one draft solution goes through silver-lined, anti-microbial tubing so the beverage doesn't spoil from bacteria.

Because the floor is constructed of stainless steel and reinforced, it's easily cleaned and can support heavy loads. The self-closing door keeps cold air inside the cabinet and sports a field-reversible design that accommodates a variety of workflows and kitchen layouts. The Beverage-Air BM23HC-B draft beer system has a stainless steel countertop that is easy to clean with its drip tray. Users can maneuver this 24-inch-wide by 30 3⁄8-inch-deep by 53 1⁄8-inch high unit using the 4-inch casters.

The Dinosaur of Kegerators!

Bought this BA kegerator as a direct replacement for the same model I've had for ~ 17 years. I love the commercial feel of the unit and overall simplicity of design and set up/use. Was slightly annoyed w/a few changes they've made- mostly to save on production costs - the beverage air logo is now a cheap sticker vs raised/embossed. The handle is gone - replaced with a spring load in the door. The condensate tray moved from the bottom to the back of the unit - which increases the overall depth so it sticks out of my built-in set up a little. Also - could they please improve on the drip tray catch system? It's just a tube and a cheap plastic bottle that flop around the inside of the unit. For $2k+ I expect more! The included taps are also old school/out of date piston design - I replaced them with my modern inter-tap parts. All in all - I still love it - but man what a dinosaur !!!

KaTom's Response:

We really appreciate you taking the time to share such detailed feedback - especially coming from someone who's used this model for so many years. It's great to hear the core performance, simplicity, and overall feel are still holding up, even after all that time. At the same time, we understand the frustration with some of the newer design changes, especially at this price point. Your notes on the drip tray, depth change, and tap design are helpful and absolutely fair. Thanks for sticking with the brand and for giving such an honest, experience-backed review!
