To provide durability, the exterior, interior, and 2-inch top on the Beverage Air BB36HC-1-F-S-27 bar refrigerator are made of stainless steel. To facilitate cleaning, the interior has radial corners that don't harbor bacteria, and the unit operates with automatic defrost to rid the cabinet of ice. Corrosion is averted by epoxy coating on the evaporator and shelves. The cabinet is illuminated with LED lights to facilitate product retrieval, and the lights are controlled with a manual on/off switch.

The Beverage Air BB36HC-1-F-S-27 bar refrigerator has magnetic gaskets that provide a positive seal to the self-closing door, preventing cold air from escaping the cabinet. Its solid door stays open while staff load it, preventing injuries caused by door slams. The temperature can be adjusted from 36 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit using electronic controls, and it cools using an environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. If maintenance is needed, the condenser can be located on the unit's side, and it's self-contained to streamline installation.
