Cleveland KEL-60 Description
Using a temperature dial on the control panel, operators can adjust the temperature of the Cleveland KEL60 stationary kettle from 145 to 260 degrees Fahrenheit. It features a two-thirds steam jacket that's filled permanently with treated water; this reduces labor by eliminating the need for venting or refilling. For strength, it features a reinforced rolled rim, and its heating elements are welded in to prevent leakage. Overall, this self-contained unit measures 341⁄4 inches wide by 44 inches deep by 43 inches high.
The Cleveland KEL60 steam kettle is constructed of stainless steel—rust-resistant, simple-to-clean metal that's ideal for heavy-duty use. Its 60-gallon capacity accommodates high-volume batches of soup, pasta, rice, stew, and sauce. Because it's stationary, it doesn't tilt to remove product; users must scoop out food and distribute liquids through the 2-inch tangent draw-off valve. This unit is mounted on an open tri-leg base and features solid-state water level controls.
