Cleveland KEL25 Description
This stationary Cleveland KEL25 electric kettle measures 297⁄8 inches wide by 34 inches deep by 363⁄4 inches high and has a 25-gallon capacity. To cook rice, pasta, soups, stews, and sauces, this self-contained kettle requires an electric hookup to heat the steam jacket. The steam jacket surrounds two thirds of the kettle to create an even heat distribution, and the jacket's 50-PSI rating withstands high temperatures to heat foods quickly. To accommodate various foods, operators can adjust temperature from 145 to 260 degrees Fahrenheit, and solid-state temperature controls maintain temperatures consistently. The kettle's control panel monitors water levels, heat cycles, and power status, while its splash-proof design protects these controls through cooking cycles.
The Cleveland KEL25 electric kettle features an open tri-leg base with adjustable, flanged feet that can stabilize on irregular flooring and be bolted into the floor to secure the unit in place. Since this unit is stationary, thick product can be scooped out, and liquids can be drained from the 2-inch tangent draw-off valve. To keep solid foods inside the kettle, the valve includes a strainer. The kettle's exterior is 304 stainless steel, while the interior is 316 stainless steel; both surfaces resist rust and corrosion and can be wiped clean.
