Cleveland KEL100T Description
For high-traffic restaurants and facilities, the Cleveland KEL100T electric steam kettle can cook 100 gallons of product in one batch—equal to (1,600) 8-ounce servings. This 51-inch-wide by 711/4-inch-deep by 487/8-inch-high kettle has a 304 stainless steel exterior with a No. 4 finish, and its interior is 316 stainless steel to withstand repeated heating and cooling; both surfaces are simple to wipe clean after use. Designed to be bolted to the floor for stabilization, the open tri-leg base's feet can be adjusted on sloped or uneven ground. Simple to install, the self-contained kettle requires an electric hook-up to heat its steam jacket, which is filled permanently with treated water to eliminate the need to refill or vent it. The jacket's two-thirds design can heat and cook a variety of foods evenly.
The Cleveland KEL100T electric kettle's steam jacket has a 50-PSI rating that operates with high cooking temperatures and expedites cook times. Operators can adjust heat between 145 and 260 degrees Fahrenheit using the temperature control dial, while solid-state temperature controls provide accurate temperature readings. Users can monitor heating cycles, water levels, and power status with the standard control panel, which includes LED indicators for heat and water statuses and a dial for power and temperature settings. Once product is cooked, the kettle can be tilted using a crank mechanism to pour out high-capacity foods from the large pouring lip. This manual design lets operators control pouring speed and portions.
