Cleveland KDL-60-T Description
To facilitate access to its contents, the Cleveland KDL-60-T steam kettle tilts with a self-locking, permanently lubricated tilting mechanism. Soup, broth, and chili dispense through a pouring lip, which is high capacity for serving large batches. Its open base features three legs that sit on flanged feet—these feet can be bolted for security and adjusted to enable installation on uneven surfaces. Its exterior features a stainless steel finish for durability and rust resistance.
The Cleveland KDL-60-T tilting kettle is designed with a two-thirds steam jacket that fills most of the kettle with steam for cooking. This method uses direct steam—operated by connecting it to an external boiler—to heat evenly and quickly with no cold or hot spots. A condensate drain valve helps users clean out excess condensation, and its handle is insulated to keep it cool. Mounted on the console, it includes a steam valve to control steam levels.
