Its 300-series stainless steel body features four shelves adjustable in 1-inch increments to accommodate rotating inventory. It features an open front to allow customers to quickly grab products, tempered glass sides and a frontal lip so its contents can be seen from multiple angles, and a series of LED lights that illuminates the vibrant colors of contained snacks to encourage impulse purchases. Overall, this unit measures 39¹/₈ inches wide by 28¹/₄ inches deep by 78⁵/₈ inches high, and its black exterior blends in well with most storefront themes.

With a self-contained system, the Turbo Air TOM-40-B-N storefront cooler keeps contents chilled using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Air is taken in through the front and released through the rear, while its walls and roof are perforated for greater airflow. Additionally, its walls use polyurethane foamed-in insulation to lock cold air in. To make its condenser last, it comes equipped with a self-cleaning mechanism, and for simple installation, operators only need to plug it into a wall outlet to turn it on.
