Turbo Air TAHP-36-6 Description
The Turbo Air TAHP-36-6 gas hotplate is powered by natural gas, but when necessary, it can be converted to LP gas. An adjustable pilot controls each of the six 32,0000-BTU burners, and their detachable, two-piece construction ensures they are straightforward to clean. Constructed of cast iron, the 12-inch by 12-inch top grates withstand heavy use. Grooves in the grates move heat directly to the cooking surface, and the grates are designed so that users can slide pots without lifting.
Cleaning the unit is convenient because there is a full-width, removable grease pan. Designed with a 4-inch stainless steel front ledge, there is a place for plates to rest. The stainless steel construction is durable and eases the cleaning process. Four 2-inch legs elevate the Turbo Air TAHP-36-6 gas hotplate off countertops, reducing the risk of component overheating.
