Turbo Air TAHP-36-6 Description
The Turbo Air TAHP-36-6 Radiance gas hotplate has a 4-inch front ledge where users can set plates before transferring product to a dish. Heavy duty for commercial applications, the 12-inch by 12-inch top grates are made of cast iron for durability, and pots can slide across the grates, so lifting heavy cookware is not necessary. Because of the grooved design of the grates, heat is directed to the cooking surface. Each of the six 32,000-BTU burners is controlled by an adjustable standing pilot, while their two-piece design streamlines cleanup.
Although the Turbo Air TAHP-36-6 hotplate is powered by LP gas, it can be converted to natural gas if that is the gas type that is available. The stainless steel construction provides durability and eases cleaning, while 2-inch legs elevate the unit off the counter for airflow underneath.
